More excitement at CCW 2017

This time last year, I knew nothing about Critical Communications World – I hadn’t even visited it. Yet I found myself planning and producing Airbus’ presence at the show. Was I excited, scared? You bet I was.

Yet everything went well and this year, I'm still excited but no longer scared by the prospect of CCW17. There are three reasons:

1. Team players

This year, instead of being nervous that things will go wrong, I can really enjoy everything about producing a big event. One of the main reasons is the great team supporting me.

Last year, the team even looked like a team, with all stand personnel wearing soccer jerseys.

This year's Critical Communications World will take place on 16 - 18 May in Hong Kong. Soccer is not a local top sport like it was for last year’s venue city of Amsterdam, so Airbus stand personnel will wear something else – be sure to visit stand C5 to find out what.

2. The spirit of Finland

Last year's event was the first to feature a country pavillion. The Critical Communications Finland stand was a great success – lots of Finnish companies and authority organizations joined forces to show the critical communication solutions they have brought into use together. Airbus was a key player at the pavilion and it will again be a privilege for us to be part of such a group and share in the spirit of the security communications family.

3. It's a unique event

Even before I had visited Critical Communications World, I could see that it was going to be different from any event that I had seen before. I even wrote a list of the five interesting things that make CCW a unique event. Those things are all valid.

And I want to add one more unique thing to the list - the amazing Airbus event experience that awaits visitors.

The Airbus stand will be a boulevard of hybrid evolution. Everyone is welcome to visit the stand to experience our innovations and solutions. I know that some may be looking forward to even bigger LED screens, but I can reveal already that we will not be repeating ourselves.

Whatever your plans, explore this Photo Gallery and revisit some key moments of Critical Communications World 2016. Hopefully it will remind you of the excitement and innovation of this unique event and inspire you to visit CCW 2017. I hope to see you there!
