    The Airbus TETRA network in Beijing includes TETRA switch and 10 base stations, interfaces to PABX telephone system, recording system and 10 000 TETRA handportable radios.

    Professionals from across the airport use the network, including ground staff, airline personnel,air traffic controllers, security officers, shuttle bus drivers, food service suppliers and more. At its
    peak, the TETRA system dealt successfully with nearly 110,000 calls per day with no failures.
