Airbus organized Critical App Challenge with Hackathon event in Germany for the most talented teams to improve the mission-critical communications of police officers, firefighters, caretakers, doctors and other life-saving and society-building professionals. Jani Iivari, Marjukka Niinioja and Ville Ristimäki from the Tactical AI team are working hard on the challenge. Their app automatically delivers the caller’s location information and facial recognition to the police, security and medical teams in situations where a person cannot present identification on the spot
Dr. Thomas Strang, Dr. Andreas Lehner and Benno Kühnl from the Live Savers team are working on a life-saving app. With the help of the app, workers on a train track get a warning on their Tactilon Dabat device when a train is approaching - also outside 3G/4G network coverage
