Full Stack Application Developer

In Finland, Airbus Defence and Space Oy employs around 370 people in Helsinki and Jyväskylä.

     

    The secure land communication unit of Airbus Defence and Space in Finland is looking for a Full Stack Application Developer to join our Software Development team in Jyväskylä.

    You will work with telecommunication products that keep people connected when it matters most. You have the talent to find solutions to complex problems, and you have a desire for creating and delivering sophisticated software as well as new client and server applications. As a part of your day-to-day operations, you will be combining Tetra and Agnet solutions. This is a new role in the company.

     

    What we expect from you

    • Knowledge of Frontend Web technology (REACT, Material UI, NGINX, Javascript)
    • Cloud technologies and micro services architectures
    • API technologies (REST API, Kong)
    • Backend technologies (Java, Spring boot, Docker and Container technologies, Kubernetes)
    • Automated building and testing knowledge
    • Agile development knowledge (SAFe)

    Also it is a plus if you have knowledge of: WebRTC, Tetra and Native mobile technology expertise

     

    Additional useful qualifications

    We are looking for a candidate with a M.Sc or B.Sc level degree in engineering, software of computer science. The candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in software development. Successful conduct of this job requires good communication skills as well as good influencing and networking skills. On top of Finnish language, working in an international company requires excellent command of both written and spoken English language. In addition, the ideal candidate is eager to learn and has a good attitude as these are central aspects for succeeding in this role.
