Head of Transformation Office (m/f)

    A vacancy for the Head of Transformation Office (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Secure Land Communications (SLC). You will join the Operations Department in charge of offering the highest value to SLC customers, working from the early definition up to the lifelong support of their solutions.

     

    As the Head of Transformation Office, you will be responsible of the internal digital transformation programme of SLC reporting to the Head of Operations. This position can be based either in Elancourt (France) or Helsinki (Finland).

     

    The main objectives of SLC digital transformation programme are: support business transformation, modernise customer experience, improve operational efficiency, leverage the value of data & drive culture transformation.

     

    This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

     

    Tasks & accountabilities

    Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

    • Define SLC internal digital transformation roadmap,
    • Lead the implementation of SLC internal digital transformation roadmap,
    • Promote SLC internal digital transformation roadmap towards SLC employees,
    • Ensure a high quality of service on SLC business tools to SLC customers and employees,
    • Optimize SLC toolset across functions and sites,
    • Provide SLC employees with a general support on any digital matters,
    • Act as SLC main point of contact with Information Management (IM) organisation,
    • Represent SLC in Airbus and Airbus Defence and Space digital transformation communities.

     

    This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

     

    Required skills

    You will have the following skills and experience:

    • Educated to Master degree level (or equivalent) in Computer Science or  Business Administration (MBA),
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Digital Transformation,
    • Change management and Project-Programme Management skills,
    • Knowledge of Agile Method is expected,
    • Strong leadership and management skills,
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
    • Language skills: negotiation level English.
