We are now looking for a Project Manager/Technical Writer to join our Documentation & Translation team in the Helsinki office. The person we are looking for has excellent communication skills with proven working experience in project management.

Your main responsibilities are to plan, manage and monitor the projects and ensure that all projects are delivered on time. You are also able to write clear, well-structured and high-quality customer documentation.

Main role and responsibilities include

Project Management:

• Plan, manage & monitor the projects and project changes/progress to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
• Analyze, define and monitor project scope and objectives for customer documentation, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget and manage risks and changes
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

Technical Writing:

• Design and create, maintain, and update comprehensive high-quality customer documentation
• Deliver clear, correct, and well-structured writing
• Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, Development, Engineering, Testing, Project & Product Management and use internal collaborative tools for inputs

What we expect of you

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong experience in customer documentation 
• Proven working experience in project management
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to monitor and control budgets
• Ability to handle several projects at the same time as well as complex projects with several stakeholders in an agile or non-agile mode (in-house milestones)
• Good communication and negotiation skills, to manage expectations
• Professional level in technical writing for various documentation deliverables: for example user, maintenance, commissioning and installation guides, upgrade instructions.
• Capability to handle sensitive material in compliance with all internal and external requirements
• Knowledge of XML language in user documentation
• Aptitude for analyzing and synthesizing technical information
• Ability to edit illustrations and graphics
• Team spirit
